This guide only applies to current-generation Spotters running on v2.15.6 or v2.16.x.
Current-generation Spotters running on version v2.15.5 or lower MUST BE updated to v2.15.6 BEFORE they are updated to v2.16.8. See Firmware v2.15.6 Installation Instructions.
If you accidentally install the wrong firmware version, do not try to fix things by installing the correct version after the fact. This will cause further problems to your system. Instead, contact the Sofar Support Team for advice on how to proceed.
