Accessing Smart Mooring Data from the Sofar Dashboard

The easiest and fastest way to access the data on the Smart Mooring is through the Sofar Dashboard. If you have registered the Spotter on your own account you may access this via

If the Spotter is publicly shared you can reach the Spotter's specific page via

where XXXX is the Spotter ID number

Here you can see an overview of the standard Spotter data (public version shown)

Smart Mooring data is currently under the "HISTORICAL DATA" section.

The Spotter and Smart Mooring data can be downloaded:

1. Select the date range at the top and click apply

2. Choose to download either the Spotter (Wind & Waves) or the Smart Mooring (Sensors) from the download icon

This will download the data as a .csv file.

There are a number of ways to view / use a CSV file. In the interest of being brief for this documentation we are going to be using Google Sheets.
