Introduction

Smart Mooring sensors can be added at any node. A sensor can be placed safely inside the metal casket. Some sensors or payloads such as the RBR Coda3 Pressure, Temperature, and Pressure + Temperature sensors will not fit and must be mounted on the side. We will refer to this mounting strategy and hardware needed as Side Mount or Casket Mount in our guides.

Generally speaking, your Smart Mooring should come fully assembled and you will not need to retrofit / update your kit with these assembly instructions. They are provided here for those who would make changes or updates to include this design.

This guide will assist you in the proper setup and implementation of the Smart Mooring casket/side mounts. These mounts are designed to hold a sensor or payload safely and the side of the metal casket that is part of the Smart Mooring node. Please review the following diagram.
