You don’t need a Spotter to create a Spotter Dashboard account!

You can use your account to explore recent data from Public Spotters (i.e., Spotters whose owners have opted to share their observations publicly). Toggle Public Spotters on in the legend in the top-right corner of the map. Then, click any of the purple Spotter icons in the map to pull up an overview of that Spotter’s most recent transmission. Click More data to open graphical representations of that Spotter’s most recent transmissions.

1. Open the Spotter Dashboard.
2. Click Don’t have an account? Sign Up under the Sign In button.

1. Fill out your contact and location info.
2. Select a username (at least 5 characters and not an email address) and a password.
3. Confirm that you adhere to Sofar’s Privacy Policy ****and Terms of Use.
4. Click Sign up.

You will be redirected to the Map View and your Dashboard authentication session will last for 30 days. After that, you will need to login again.

Your account details can be reviewed and updated at any time on the User Account page. Just click the menu icon ☰ in the top-right corner and then select Account to get there. If you want to edit anything, click the corresponding pencil icon and then hit Update to save your changes.
