Your account balance is the amount of money currently available in your account, which you can add funds to at any time. Your account balance will also be credited when you register a new Spotter, when you disable a telemetry line during an active billing cycle, and when you cancel your subscription.

The monthly invoices for your data subscription will draw from your account balance first. Any remaining amount not covered by your account balance will then be charged to the payment method you have on file. If you do not have a payment method saved, your subscription will expire if your account balance does not have enough funds to cover your invoice when it’s due.

  1. Open the Telemetry, Billing History or Payment Settings page in the Spotter Dashboard.
  2. Your current account balance will be listed under Account balance, along with a note indicating whether it is expected to cover your upcoming invoice(s).

  1. Click Add funds to balance.

  2. Enter the amount of money you want to add to your account balance (minimum 1 USD) in the Amount to add: field or select an amount from the dropdown list. Please note that the estimates are based on your current data subscription. Any changes to your data subscription (e.g., enabling additional telemetry lines, changing the number of recurring satellite credits, etc.) will have an impact on how long your account balance will cover your upcoming invoices.
